Dear Berny, You are Amazing!! And we love staying here! We get thoroughly unwound and are tanned and rested. It was also lovely to meet your other guest at the wine and cheese gathering. You are a perfect hostess!
Harry - If there are such people as "wizards" then I believe you are the "Wizard of Gardens" The foliage surrounding The Webster House is so beautiful and charming, Our eyes cannot get enough. Berny - truly you are one of the most gracious and inviting 'Innkeeper' that we have ever known. Thank you for being so thoughtful & intuitive. Both you & Harry have such a special place
Here's our group picture from the girls' Labor Day weekend. What a blast the girls had! They loved taking the bikes and riding around town, shopping and getting lunch. (They didn't mind playing volleyball on the beach with the cute German guys, either.) And I enjoyed reading on the beach in peace and quiet. Thanks for loaning us the pot to make our spaghetti dinner on Sunday night and the cookie sheets to make treats for the Cape May firemen. We played games in the 'parlor' after dinner how Victorian of us. I'm so homesick for Cape May.
You knew our wishes before we did, dear Berny. Our initial plan was to stay 2 or 3 days, we ended up staying for a week. We feel sorry as we have to fly back to Germany tomorrow. We wanted to stay even longer. Looking forward to staying here again in your beautiful home. Thank you for everything you did for us.
We loved our stay!! Bernie was the best hostess. We can not wait to go back next year. The house was beautiful, clean and very quiet. Loved falling asleep with the windows opened smelling all the beautiful flowers
It's a wonderful place. It feels like home. Berny is the nicest hostess you will ever meet. I love this place.
Its a great place to stay, its within walking distance to many restaurants and shops, give it a try. We have been going there for at least 10 years
Berny and Harry are wonderful hosts. Couldn' t be anymore welcoming or hospitable. Their place is beautifully kept, every detail remembered. What a special place to stay in memorable Cape May! Highly Recommended! We return yearly.
Love this place. Very peaceful..
Beautiful landscape and flowers.
The Thomas Webster house is an architectural treasure trove and a true horticultural gem as it is surrounded by magnificently landscaped grounds and Zen-like gardens filled with lush greenery and rainbows of flowers.
My sister and I visited the Thomas Webster House and its owners Harry and Bernie for the first time in September 2011 and loved it so much that we made another visit over the Xmas Holidays and we’re on our way to Cape May again at the end of April, and again this summer. This Victorian wonder with its fabulous host and hostess has become our sea shore home away from home, sister-time, get-away spot.
The suites are delightfully decorated with Victorian furnishings, ever so cozy, and immaculately clean. And, although the Thomas Webster House is a historical gem, you don’t need to leave your iPad at home or miss your favorite TV show as you have access to free Wi-Fi as well as your own flat screen TV.
Berny and Harry have seen to every detail so if you’re planning a trip to the beach (no matter what the time of year) visit the Thomas Webster House as you will be more than thrilled with your choice.
Thanks Berny and Harry for making our mini-holidays so very special.
