One again, our time in Cape May was absolutely wonderful. We loved The Garden Suite, especially the bedroom and it's beautiful view of the garden. Berny, you are such a gracious hostess and special person. We sincerely appreciate all of your efforts in making us feel so welcomed in your charming home. We will be looking forward to seeing you again in August ...

It's great to be back! We just love coming here .. now it's a real tradition. With us.. we always feel so welcomed and loved. All the special little touches, and the gardens which get more lovely every year. We look forward to next time.

It's a sad day - we are leaving again - but -we will be back next summer. Cape May is so beautiful with so much to do and see .. However, I've come to realize that a large part of my fondness for coming here is my stay at The Thomas Webster house .. You are just the best at making your guests feel "at home". Thank you for yet another wonderful week at my favorite place...

Harry - If there are such people as "wizards" then I believe you are the "Wizard of Gardens" The foliage surrounding The Webster House is so beautiful and charming, Our eyes cannot get enough. Berny - truly you are one of the most gracious and inviting 'Innkeeper' that we have ever known. Thank you for being so thoughtful & intuitive. Both you & Harry have such a special place

Week of September 2nd

Here's our group picture from the girls' Labor Day weekend. What a blast the girls had! They loved taking the bikes and riding around town, shopping and getting lunch. (They didn't mind playing volleyball on the beach with the cute German guys, either.) And I enjoyed reading on the beach in peace and quiet. Thanks for loaning us the pot to make our spaghetti dinner on Sunday night and the cookie sheets to make treats for the Cape May firemen. We played games in the 'parlor' after dinner how Victorian of us. I'm so homesick for Cape May.

Week of April 21st

You knew our wishes before we did, dear Berny. Our initial plan was to stay 2 or 3 days, we ended up staying for a week. We feel sorry as we have to fly back to Germany tomorrow. We wanted to stay even longer. Looking forward to staying here again in your beautiful home. Thank you for everything you did for us.

We loved our stay!! Bernie was the best hostess. We can not wait to go back next year. The house was beautiful, clean and very quiet. Loved falling asleep with the windows opened smelling all the beautiful flowers

Charming B&B with historic charm located on Washington Street in Cape May. Walking distance to town and the beaches. There are a variety of suites to choose from, one and two bedrooms with living rooms, kitchens, and private baths with private deck and charming back yard. It is well furnished and comfortable. We have a home right around the corner and have put up many family and friends there. The owner Berny is friendly and very accommodating.

Deborah

The accommodations exceeded our expectations. Berny thought of everything. Glasses were chilled, fresh milk in the frig and a bag of ice in the freezer. The apartment was clean with plenty of towels, fluffy pillows and blankets. The bedroom was large with a king size bed. The gardens were the icing on the cake. Simply an oasis. If I lived there I'd never want to leave. The location was close to all that Cape May has to offer. Berny and Harry were not only wonderful hosts. They're genuinely kind and generous: my sons car broke down while there and it needed a part that the mechanic had to order. His car was not going to be repaired until Monday. We were expected to leave on Sunday. Berny and Harry not only allowed us to stay another night. They would not allow us to pay for it. They are angels on earth and their inn is a hidden gem.

Cardiel

Berny is an amazing host (she takes care of you and wants you to enjoy Cape May) and the Thomas Webster house is simply stunning. It was much bigger and beautiful than expected. We could cook and enjoy the terrace, we felt at home.

Christine

Home away from home. All Linen and towels were provided.. Kitchen pretty much has all the amenities of home. If it does not - your host family is very accommodating- Gardens are beautiful. Thomas Webster House has everything you would need for the beach. Chairs-Umbrellas- Berny even made us cheese and fruit and had them waiting for us when we came back from beach or town. Nice little touch. You really feel like your at home. And being pampered. Worst part about my stay - was that it wasn't long enough. Wish I could stay forever!

Summer, Spring, Winter, and Fall -
We Love the Thomas Webster House

The Thomas Webster house is an architectural treasure trove and a true horticultural gem as it is surrounded by magnificently landscaped grounds and Zen-like gardens filled with lush greenery and rainbows of flowers.

My sister and I visited the Thomas Webster House and its owners Harry and Bernie for the first time in September 2011 and loved it so much that we made another visit over the Xmas Holidays and we're on our way to Cape May again at the end of April, and again this summer. This Victorian wonder with its fabulous host and hostess has become our sea shore home away from home, sister-time, get-away spot.

The suites are delightfully decorated with Victorian furnishings, ever so cozy, and immaculately clean. And, although the Thomas Webster House is a historical gem, you don't need to leave your iPad at home or miss your favorite TV show as you have access to free Wi-Fi as well as your own flat screen TV.

Berny and Harry have seen to every detail so if you're planning a trip to the beach (no matter what the time of year) visit the Thomas Webster House as you will be more than thrilled with your choice.

Thanks Berny and Harry for making our mini-holidays so very special.
