Open Year Round!

For those of you considering a visit during the shoulder seasons we have created a Seasons Gallery of the Webster House and Cape May! Although there are many reasons to visit in July and August, the entire year is wonderful for many reasons. If your are interested in the architecture of our Victorian town by the sea remember that the homes are best viewed without the leaves on our trees.

Festivals and events include our Spring Jazz Festival in early April, Tulip Festival late April, Spring Craft Shows, Antiques on Memorial Day weekend, Strawberry Festival in early June, Victorian Fair at the Physick Estate 1/2 block from the Webster House, Quilt Show at Historic Cold Spring Village. The Summer Season features concerts every week at the bandstand, Humingbirds in our gardens, craft shows on the promenade (Berny's favorite), Sand Sculpture contest on the beach at the cove, Vintage Car Shows.

September in Cape May is our favorite time of the year. We call it "couple's month." The ocean water is the warmest, the days are warm and the nights are cool for sleeping, the town is less crowded, the wonderful restaurants are all open. Monarch butterflies are migrating. Your romantic escape month can include our Food and Wine Festival. Victorian Week in October is filled with tours, demonstrations and events at the Physick Estate and Convention Hall in October. Crafts and antique shows lead up to the Halloween Parade and the Bird Show. Sherlock Holmes Weekend, Fall Arts and Crafts and the wonderful Fall Jazz Festival make November come alive!

The beautiful Holiday Season finds the town quiet but active with anticipation. The Holiday Preview Weekend begins in late November to Showcase our beautiful homes and Christmas decorations early. This magical time of the year in Cape May highlights the architecture. Horse drawn carriages, friendly shops, wonderful restaurants, Victorian Christmas finery and House Tours combine to create a unique holiday experience! Celebrate New Years in Cape May with a relaxing stay at the Webster House since many of the restaurants feature New Years Special Events! Winter can be harsh but also a truly beautiful time of the season and we would love to have you stay with us during the romantic month of February for Valentine's or Presidents weekend when we offer specials for couples.
